Oksana Hryschuk Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Oksana Hryschuk was born on October 12, 1977 in the city of Lviv. In 1999 she graduated from the Faculty of Law of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Diploma cum Laude). In 2001 she defended her thesis for obtaining the degree of Candidate of Law at the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv on “The Human Right to Compensation for Moral Damage: General Theoretical Aspects”; in 2008 –thesis for the degree of Doctor of Law at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law Academy on “Human Dignity in Law: Philosophical Aspects”. Since 2001 - assistant professor, since 2007 – associate professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, and since 2011 – professor of the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Since 2003 she has worked part-time at the Lviv Laboratory of Human and Citizen’s Rights of the Research Institute of State Building and Local Self-Government of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine. Since 2020 - trainer-teacher at the National School of Judges of Ukraine. On November 26, 2021, by the Decree of the President of Ukraine, based on the results of the competition, she was appointed a judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine. She took the oath of a Judge of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on May 19, 2022. Doctor of Law, Professor. Member of the editorial boards of journals “Bulletin of Lviv National University. Legal Series”, “Ukrainian Journal of Constitutional Law”, “Word of the National School of Judges of Ukraine”, “Law of Ukraine”. She has more than 150 publications, including 14 monographs.
